- Description
Animal Assisted Interactions can help enrich the quality of life of anyone affected by cancer through creating and strengthening a human-animal bond.
Come join us at CancerCare to interact with an animal assisted therapy team that can help you reduce stress, provide a safe and relaxed environment to discuss your situation, encourage social interactions, and provide unconditional love and affection.
The workshop will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and is open to patients, caregivers, survivors, and the bereaved. This will be an informational workshop about the benefits of AAT with time to meet the teams before and after.
CancerCare is collaborating with New York Therapy Animals, an affiliate group of Intermountain Therapy Animals, to provide this service.
