Samantha is an oncology social worker and the Women’s Cancers Program Coordinator at CancerCare, providing counseling to people coping with cancer and people who have experienced the loss of a loved one.

Sam shares, “I like making an impact on someone’s life during a severely stressful time. Having a client tell me how I have helped them just by listening means so much to me. It also highlights the importance of how these clients want to/need to be heard. I also enjoy encouraging clients to advocate for themselves particularly with any disparities they may encounter.”
