The Longest Day of Golf gives our most dedicated lovers of the sport the opportunity to test their limits and raise substantial funds and awareness for CancerCare, while giving them bragging rights for completing a golf marathon like no other. Participants are offered a list of private golf courses to play, along with available dates. Having raised over $3 million since 1994, CancerCare’s Longest Day of Golf has been a unique event that brings golfers together to compete against each other to complete as many holes as possible in one full day. Most golfers play 100 holes or more!

Join fellow golfers and CancerCare supporters for a day of fun for a great cause! This year’s tournament takes place at top-rated GlenArbor Golf Club in Bedford Hills, NY, just a short ride from New York City.
GlenArbor Golf Club, is a private, 18-hole golf course located in Bedford Hills, New York and first opened for play in 1996. The course was designed by Gary Player.
This club was formerly known as Lakeover National Golf Club. The course has water hazards (lakes) coming into play on eight holes. The fairways are narrow on the front nine, and more open on the back nine. The sand bunkers are deep, and the large greens are fast.
A wonderful time is guaranteed, all while supporting CancerCare’s free, professional support services for anyone affected by cancer.

Do Something for CancerCare is a “Do It Yourself” way to raise funds for a great cause, and participating is fun and easy!
Now, more than ever, we need your help! When you support CancerCare, you make our mission possible as we provide help and hope to anyone impacted by a cancer diagnosis, including caregivers, families and the bereaved. CancerCare’s support services are free.
Whether or not you can personally donate, you can ask your family and friends to support you in any activity you choose. Some things you can do are:
- Run/walk a 5k
- Host a workout class
- Host a lemonade stand
- Cooking/baking contest
- Hold a car wash
- Plan a game night
You will be making a major impact on the lives of people affected by cancer. No matter what you choose, everyone can Do Something!

Bring your friends, family and co-workers for a day of celebrating survivors, remembering loved ones and supporting people coping with lung cancer.
