Caribou Coffee Raises $190,000 in Support of CancerCare’s Free Services
CancerCare, a national nonprofit organization providing free, professional support services to people with cancer, is grateful to receive a $190,000 donation from Caribou Coffee.
Each October, Caribou Coffee pays tribute to their original Roastmaster, Amy Erickson, with Amy’s Blend coffee and merchandise. Amy passed away from breast cancer in 1995 and in her memory, Caribou donates a portion of October sales to cancer causes. For the fifth consecutive year, Caribou has chosen to donate 10 percent of Amy’s Blend coffee and merchandise sales to CancerCare.
“CancerCare is proud to partner with Caribou Coffee each October, and we are thankful for their support of our mission to provide help and hope to anyone affected by cancer,” said CancerCare Chief Executive Officer Patricia J. Goldsmith.
