CancerCare® to Host 36th Annual Festival of Hope Gala on May 15, 2024
CancerCare®, now celebrating its 80th year, is the leading national nonprofit organization providing free, professional support services to anyone affected by cancer and is proud to announce its 36th Annual Festival of Hope Gala. This event is set to take place on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at the Park Savoy in Florham Park, New Jersey.
The Festival of Hope Gala serves as a celebration and recognition of those who have significantly contributed to enhancing the lives of people impacted by cancer. “This gala not only honors the tremendous resilience and spirit of our community but also reinforces our ongoing commitment to deliver support and hope to those navigating the challenges of cancer,” said Kathy Nugent, LCSW, CancerCare’s Senior Director of Regional Programs.
CancerCare is pleased to award Sanofi the 2024 Corporate Achievement Award. This award acknowledges Sanofi’s outstanding dedication to cancer research and the development of innovative therapies. Sanofi has also been instrumental in extending invaluable support services that have benefited patients and their families.
Accepting the award on behalf of Sanofi, Elizabeth Franklin, PhD, MSW, Head, US Public Affairs and Patient Advocacy, Oncology, shared, “CancerCare has long been at the forefront of vital psychosocial oncology and patient support services, meeting patients where they are and providing tailored resources that are responsive to their unique needs. We are honored to work with CancerCare to continue their legacy of creating more compassionate systems and improving the lives of people impacted by cancer.”
