Hamptons Boutique Theory Donates Portion of Weekend Sales to CancerCare
Special Shop for CancerCare partnership raises $5,000 for CancerCare of the Hamptons
East Hampton, Long Island, July 12--Theory, the fashion line known for its classic, classy fashions for today's high-achieving, active woman, gave customers at its boutiques in East Hampton and Southhampton, an even more enticing reason to shop over the pre-Fourth of July weekend: For every purchase made, Theory would donate at least 10% of the sale to support CancerCare of the Hamptons.
Theory's customers rallied, ringing up nearly $50,000 in purchases and raising $5,000 for the non-profit, which offers free counseling and practical support to any East Ender facing a cancer diagnosis.
"We are so fortunate to live in a community that really gets behind organizations like CancerCare and supports the vital services we provide to families who are trying to cope with cancer," stated CancerCare of the Hamptons board President Gary Wohl.
The Shop for CancerCare partnership with Theory is just one of the ways residents of the Hamptons are able to support CancerCare's free services to anyone facing a cancer diagnosis. Services, provided by professionally trained oncology social workers, include face to face, telephone and online counseling; and practical and financial support.
